How to Set Up Profiles on Uconnect 5
What is Uconnect 5?
Uconnect® 5 is the latest iteration of the award-winning connected vehicle platform that’s built into Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM and Fiat vehicles. It delivers advanced technology, entertainment, navigation, connectivity, and communication features to help keep drivers connected while on the road.
Some of the basic features of the Uconnect® 5 include:
- 3x Faster Processor Speed compared to Uconnect® 4
- 7-to-12.3-inch Touchscreen Display
- AM/FM Radio
- Uconnect Voice Command

- Bluetooth Connectivity

Uconnect® 5 technologies are shared between the Stellantis brands, therefore, depending on the specific automaker, the system may have additional or brand-exclusive features.
Up to four displays are available in standard, portrait, or landscape ratios, from sizes varying from 7 to 12.3-inches, and showing the same or separate content.

How to Set Up Profiles
Uconnect® 5 allows owners to have up to six unique user profiles set up on the vehicle’s infotainment touchscreen. This allows multiple drivers to have their own driver profile that remembers their favourite radio presets, screen widget configuration, memory seating adjustment and much more. To set up a new profile or edit an existing profile, follow the steps listed below.
- Select the User Profile icon, typically found on the top button array of your vehicle’s touchscreen display
- Select the desired profile you’d like to edit or select the “Add New” icon to create a new user profile
- Enter a Name for your selected profile
- Select an Avatar and choose form several different categories including, colours, characters, animals, brands, and sports
- Select the “Save” button to save the selected name and avatar choices
- To further edit an existing profile, select the “Edit Profile” button found on the top right corner of the screen
- Customize items including the desired memory seat setting, welcome pop up size and even delete an existing profile, all through this page
