The vehicle can switch between all‑electric propulsion, all-gasoline propulsion, or a combination of both, and it also allows you to select your driving mode manually, or you can let the vehicle automatically modulate these changes to achieve the most efficient performance possible.
Charge Time & Driving Range
When in the E-Selec® drive mode, the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe can travel up to 42 km on all-electric power on a single charge. When combined with its gasoline powertrain, the vehicle boasts a total driving range of 761 km! Plug-in to a 220V fast charger and recharge the Grand Cherokee 4xe’s battery pack in around 2 hours, while plugging in to a standard 110V household outlet will take about 12 hours to fully charge. When the battery is depleted, the combustion engine takes over to continue driving the vehicle. During your day‑to‑day driving, the combustion engine and Regenerative Braking also help to charge the battery.
